In the book Crash, by Spinelli, there is a character named Penn Webb. Aside from being a 7th grade cheerleader, a Quaker, buying clothes from a store called Second Time Around, having a pet turtle, and being a political activist, Penn has one other unusual habit. The habit I'm referring to is wearing a button on his shirt every day. The buttons Penn wears are different each day as well as having a different message. As a tribute to Penn Webb, our class made our own buttons with our own unique messages. Below are a sampling of our class buttons.
