Continuing Interactive Stories

An interactive story is a story in which you participate in somehow. A continuing story is one that never truly ends, as in To Be Continued. When you combine the two, you get a continuing interactive story. At least that's what I call it. Anyhow. the way you write this type of story is to have someone write a sentence or group of sentences that gives some information about the story. Then, someone else will write another sentence or group of sentences that continues the story and takes it in whatever direction they choose... and so on and so on.

You can set a length for the story, or amount of people who get to add to it, or have it go on indefinitely. The format is very open. Part of the fun of writing this type of story is that you don't know where the story is going and there are absolutely no boundaries.
